How to Join
Joining the Newport Harbor Orchid Society is simple and welcoming. Here’s how it works:
Step-by-Step Process:
- Attend a Meeting as a Guest Come to one of our monthly meetings (held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM). This is the best way to experience our community and see if it’s the right fit for you.
- Fill Out the Membership Form After attending, complete our simple membership application form (available at the meeting or online).
- Pay Your Membership Dues. Payment can be made by check or cash. Choose your membership type:
- Single Membership
- Dual/Family Membership
- Welcome to the Family! Once your payment is received, you’ll receive a welcome email with your membership card, access to our member-only resources, and an invitation to our next meeting.

| How do I pay? | You can pay your membership dues by check at any monthly meeting (after filling out the membership form). We also accept cash at meetings. |
| Can I attend a meeting before joining? | Yes! We highly encourage you to attend as a guest first. Just show up at our monthly meeting (3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM). But please check the exceptions dates. No reservation is needed. It’s the best way to see if our community is right for you. |
| What if I’m a beginner? | Absolutely no problem! We warmly welcome beginners. Many of our members started with no experience. Our meetings are friendly and educational, and experienced growers are always happy to help newcomers. You don’t need to know anything — just bring your curiosity! |
